Yesterday we published part one of our interview with Dice's BattleField Community Manager, zh1nto.  Today is the second part of that interview.  The questions were aimed at gleaning a better understanding of the following two points:

1. zh1nt0's role within Dice, what he can, and cannot do, for the community.
2. His plans for the community and what he wants to achieve

EuroGamers.eu: Can leagues and tournies approach you for support, either with prizes, or with you helping to get the word out? 

zh1nt0: Leagues, cups, tournaments, up and coming communities around the world. Contact me if you have an idea and we’ll make the best of it!

EuroGamers.eu: What other activities are you planning on doing with/for the BF community?  

zh1nt0: There are A LOT! All of them Community-related of course. Video-making competitions, commenting on BF2 live-games on any radio channel (*invite plz*), inviting Community members to DICE to discuss the game and Community management. There are a lot of ideas and if you have an idea, make sure you post that to me. Also setting up a Community week by playing BF2 and 2142. 

zh1nto, the BattleField Community Manager at Dice, has been kind enough to do a very extensive and in-depth interview with us.  Our questions for him were geared at achieving two things:

1. An understanding of what zh1nt0's job is, so we as the community know what he can - and cannot - do for us within Dice.
2. Getting a better insight into what zh1nt0 plans for our community.

EuroGamers.eu: You mentioned in the comment you posted here some details of what your job as Community Manager is.  Many in the community are unclear on what your actual role is, so can you expand on that so we know what your job entails and, perhaps just as importantly, what it doesn't. 

zh1nto: My job is to inform the Community about what’s going on at DICE with different games. Now as you all may know, I can say some things, and some things I can’t. Everytime exciting info reaches me I just want to slam the message on the keyboard, press enter and announce it on every comm-link I have. So, I actually have to hold myself back from doing that since a lot of parties are involved which could complicate things for everyone. Let’s not forget that I am standing in-between DICE and the Community with the mission of pleasing both parties. 

Also, my job is to involve the community in different projects such as community events, community playdays and also help the Battlefield Community grow by promoting up and coming ladders, tournaments, female gamers etc. The Battlefield Community is a huge place with a lot of skilled people sending me at least 50 messages /day all with great ideas. And without overdoing it I have to say my efficiency in responding and also engaging the Community is close to a 100%.
