Group stage: February 19 – 21, 2019

  • Two groups of six teams each
  • Round-robin (everyone plays with everyone)
  • Matches will be held in the best-of-2 format.
  • The top two teams from each group go to the top of the playoffs.
  • Teams that took 3-4 place in the group fall into the lower grid playoffs
  • The two worst teams from each group leave the tournament.

Playoffs: February 22 – 24, 2019

  • The grand final will be held in the best-of-5 format.

ESL issued the last invite for ESL One Katowice 2019 to the team of Roman Resolut1on Fomink – Forward Gaming. Earlier, the organizers called for Team Secret, OG, Ninjas in Pajamas, Fnatic, paiN Gaming, Alliance and Team Aster.

The remaining quotas will go to qualifying winners in four regions. Closed qualifications for Europe, America, and Southeast Asia will be held December 8–9, and for China – December 19–20.

The ESL One Katowice 2019 LAN Final is scheduled for February 22-24. Twelve teams will compete for $ 300 thousand. The tournament is not included in the Dota Pro Circuit.

In the grand final of the closed North American qualifiers at ESL One Katowice 2019, compLexity Gaming beat J.Storm and earned a slot in the main stage of the tournament. The match ended with the score 3:1.
